Mommy's B-Day Trip

Mommy and Daddy went to San Diego this weekend for Mommy's birthday. The Whitakers and the Davises joined us. Rachel (Rae-Rae) and Glenna both had birthdays this month too, so we had a big celebration for all the girls. We had an amazing suite at the Hard Rock and had a great time with our best friends. We did miss our Maddie girl...but an adult night was MUCH needed!

Everyone knows how much Madeline LOVES zebras. They were pretty awesome.

The giraffes were Mommy's favorite. They just walked right up to us!

She had such a great time at the zoo. We loved watching her face light up when she recognized an animal and she would wave and say "hi" to all of them. It was a great day. We have such a cool daughter! :)

How could I not LOVE being this little girl's mommy?

I had an amazing Mother's Day this year. All of our family came over for a BBQ at our house. The weather was perfect and the kids played outside while we relaxed and ate carne asada tacos (my favorite)! Madeline has cut 5 teeth in the past two weeks, so you could say I earned my Mother's Day this year, but she really is such a good girl it hasn't been too bad. I swear her molars came in overnight (it was a loooong night)! Chris is such a great dad and helps me out so much that I really can't complain. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have these two in my life.

We took tons of pictures at our Mother's Day BBQ, but they are all on my dad's camera so I can't post any until I make it out to their house with my laptop. However, Chris took us to the beach on Friday, so here's a slideshow of our beach pictures to keep everyone occupied until then!
