Madeline is getting a little closer to officially crawling every day. Here she is practicing at Grandma & Grandpa's house. She actually moved forward a few times and was so proud of herself!
Our little munchkin is trying so hard to crawl! She can get up on all fours, but usually just lunges forward and falls on her face. She also tends to move backward more than forward. She's getting a little better every day though and I think she will be fully mobile within a couple weeks.
Yesterday we got a little bored and decided to head up to Oak Glen. We took Madeline to the petting zoo and she saw goats, pigs, sheep and horses. Mommy and daddy fed the animals and Madeline watched. She loved it!
On Sunday, we went to Thousand Oaks for a picnic with the Randolphs. Chris' Uncle Matt and his family were in town from Chicago. It was a great day. Madeline played with her cousin Jack, ate frozen bananas, and watched the ducks swim in the lake.
We usually take Madeline in bed with us after she wakes up in the morning. She loves to cuddle and roll around in our big bed. Look at those big blue eyes!
After our big day at the beach, we headed to the Orange County Fair. Madeline was the only baby that woke up for all the action. She had a ball! She loved the lights and sounds of all the games and rides. We were also lucky enough to see this baby zebra who was only 10 days old!
Yesterday, we took Madeline to the beach and she played in the ocean for the very first time. She had so much fun playing in the water and sand with her mommy and daddy and her friends. She loved it when the waves hit her legs and her toes sank into the sand!
